Running is a part of life for Joel Payeur and Shannon Penway and now the couple is getting ready to take on the biggest running challenge of their lives.
The duo is heading down to Costa Rica to take part in the Coastal Challenge: a 6 day race where runners complete a 125 kilometer course.
The course takes them through beaches, jungle and rainforest trails, dirt roads, river crossings and rocky terrain.
Everything that the couple raises is going to the B.C. Cancer Foundation. More than $1,600 has been raised so far.
