School bus cancellations and public transportation delays for Jan. 21

TORONTO – A wind chill warning remains in effect for the Greater Toronto Area and some school bus services are reporting delays as a result.

Tuesday’s expected high is -17 degrees Celsius, however the wind chill this morning is -26.

School bus:

Toronto Catholic District School Board: No bus cancellations today and all schools remain open.

Toronto District School Board: No bus cancellations today and all schools remain open.

Peel District School Board: No bus cancellations today and all schools remain open.

Buses to schools in Britt, Nobel, Mactier, Humphrey, Rosseau, McDougall/Whitestone, East Parry Sound, Town of Parry Sound CANCELLED.

TTC:

No major service disruptions.

GO Transit:

GO Train and Bus servrice are running normally.

Pearson International Airport:

Some delays and cancellations to/from Chicago and New York due to weather south of the border.

As of 6:00 a.m., 98 flights have been cancelled. Passengers are reminded to check with their airline before arriving at the airport.
