Accomplishments:

  • 2005 World Junior Bronze Medallist in the 4 x 7.5km Relay.

Interesting Fact: As a kid watching the Olympics in the 1990s Nathan Smith thought that competitors in the biathlon were shooting out light bulbs because he had no idea what biathlon was.

Chances: Individually, he isn’t considered to be a contender. His best finish on the World Cup circuit is 16th. The relay is where he has a chance to be on the podium, although it is not expected.
