TORONTO – Who keeps a Beatles mug on his desk, a copy of John Lennon’s biography on his bookshelf, and an adorable photo in his office of his children holding tiny kittens ?
Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Thanks to Google Maps, Canadians can now get a glimpse inside Harper’s impeccably clean office on Parliament Hill – from the carved wood walls, to the collection of awards on his bookshelf using Google Street View.
Google started mapping Canada’s Parliament Hill in April and has been releasing different views periodically. In July, the Internet giant released some of the first exploratory images of the Hill, taking users inside the House of Commons, the Red Chamber of the Senate and the Library of Parliament.
