A true Saskatchewanian, Lisa Dutton was born and raised in Prince Albert. After completing her diploma in journalism at Mount Royal in Calgary, she returned to her roots.
Her broadcasting career began as a reporter at CTV-Prince Albert, and then went on to anchor for CTV-Regina.
In 2006, Dutton accepted the position of 6 o’clock anchor for Global Saskatoon.
When Global Saskatoon announced the launch of the Morning News, Dutton was first on board. Her alarm clock goes off every day at 3:30am.
She is proud mom to Jesse and Johnny. As a working mom of two boys, she doesn’t have much spare time. She volunteers as teacher’s helper at her son’s school and makes her family a top priority.
This fall, she will mark 10 years at Global Saskatoon. Her commitment to Global, and to the Saskatoon community is something she takes seriously.
Dutton volunteers for countless charity events, as one of Saskatoon’s favourite emcees. Charities like Saskatoon Crisis Nursery, Swinging with the Stars, and Ronald McDonald House. She has been repeatedly voted “Best News Anchor” in Planet S Magazine.
