A true Saskatchewanian, Lisa was born and raised in Prince Albert. After completing her diploma in journalism at Mount Royal in Calgary, Lisa returned to her roots.
Her broadcasting career began as a reporter at CTV-Prince Albert, and weekend anchor for CTV-Regina.
In 2006, Lisa accepted the position of 6 o’clock anchor for Global Saskatoon.
“We truly love this city, and love being in the thick of things. After 10 years in this industry I know I am right where I am meant to be.”
When Global Saskatoon announced the launch of the Morning News, Lisa was first on board.
“I was ready for a new challenge. I didn’t want to become a stagnant news anchor. What makes our show number 1 is sincerity. We like each other. We love our viewers. It’s those moments ‘in between’ that really make people feel part of the show. We laugh a lot.”
Lisa is proud mom to 4 year old, Jesse and new son Johnny who was born on Oct. 2, 2013.
Lisa volunteers her time for countless charity events, as one of Saskatoon’s favourite emcees. She was voted “Best News Anchor” in Planet S Magazine for 2012, “I’m real, I think people like that.”
