Niger’s military junta revoked a raft of military cooperation agreements with France on Thursday amid a growing wave of anti-French sentiment with some locals accusing the former colonial ruler of interfering in their affairs. Meanwhile, a German government official said on Friday, that Germany had no knowledge about Russian forces playing a role in the coup but noted there had been an increase in pro-Russian disinformation.
