A Vernon city councillor is urging the province to take a second look at the rules around drug decriminalization. This after the city’s top cop told council the changes create challenges for her officers. While neither the councillor nor the police superintendent is calling for the trial policy to be scrapped, there are a lot of impacts to discuss as decriminalization heads into its second month.
