A 27-year-old Canmore man is facing charges after he was shot by an RCMP officer. The shooting comes on the same day as another police shooting in Northern Alberta. As Elissa Carpenter explains, though there has been a spate of officer-involved shootings recently, the number of incidents is actually on the decline.
