Alberta’s rural communities could benefit from renewable energy transition

Ottawa’s ‘Just Transition’ proposal has led to a lot of anger among some in Alberta. We still don’t know what it will mean for people who make their living off of oil and gas. A University of Alberta environmental sociologist has spent years exploring ways a transition could potentially help rural communities. John Parkins joined Global News at Noon Edmonton to dig deeper into the issue.
