Preparations get underway in Kelowna to mark one year anniversary of war in Ukraine

People across much of the globe are preparing to mark a sombre occasion—the one year anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine. Okanagan residents among those getting ready to join them. It was February 24th, 2022 when Russia invaded Ukraine and now just days away from that grim milestone–preparations underway for a candlelight vigil in Kelowna. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, it’s hoped community members turn out to pay their respects for the lives lost and support those still fighting for survival.
