New Order of Canada appointees named as advocates call for more representation

Gov. Gen. Mary Simon announced 99 new appointees to the Order of Canada, with hockey superstar Sidney Crosby and actor Eugene Levy among those named. But as Neetu Garcha reports, advocates are also calling on Rideau Hall to do more to nominate women, racialized Canadians, and Indigenous people for the prestigious honour.
