The province is taking another step forward in reaching its target of protecting 20 per cent of Nova Scotia’s land and water by 2030. The provincial government announced it will preserve more than 9,000 hectares of Crown land for Nova Scotians and spend $20 million to help conservation groups acquire new sites.
