A high-risk situation Friday morning shut down Calgary’s 17th Avenue SW for several hours. Guns were drawn and the tactical and canine teams were all deployed after employees at a bank called 911. As Jill Croteau reports, police say they weren’t taking any chances, concerned the episode would escalate.
