The family of Eduardo Balaquit, a cleaner who went missing on June 4, 2018, spoke out on Wednesday at a sentencing hearing for Kyle Pietz. Pietz was found guilty of Balaquit’s presumed death in the spring of 2022. As Rosanna Hemple reports, Pietz’s silence has left the Balaquit family with the constant pain of not knowing what happened.
