Sunday marked the 40th annual Fallen Peace Officers Memorial in Halifax – a day to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty in Nova Scotia. A new name was added to the monument in Grande Parade this year: Const. Heidi Stevenson, who was killed during the 2020 Nova Scotia mass shooting. Callum Smith reports.
