Trudeau says it’s ‘nonsensical’ for Hockey Canada to resist leadership change

Speaking in Ottawa on Thursday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told a reporter that since Hockey Canada has “completely lost the confidence of Canadians,” following multiple sexual assault claims, “wholesale change” should be made – even if it means creating an entirely new organization. “It’s nonsensical that they are digging in their heels on this one,” Trudeau said.
