Adnan Syed, a man who was the subject of the hit podcast “Serial” and was convicted for the 1999 murder of high school student Hae Min Lee, left prison on Monday after a Baltimore judge ordered his release and overturned his conviction after more than 20 years behind bars. The state now has 30 days to decide whether to seek a new trial date or dismiss the case.
