Taxi industry in Kelowna says Uber is inevitable but timing all wrong to let the ridesharing company operate right now.

It is a service many have long been calling for in Kelowna–Uber. While the request to operate in the Central Okanagan was denied by the Passenger Transportation Board late last year–the ridesharing company is trying again. Local cab companies say the timing is all wrong as they continue recovering from the pandemic and as Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, they are joining forces and filing submissions to the decision-makers against Uber.
