At least seven fire engines and their crews have been working to combat a blaze at a landfill fire that broke out early Saturday morning in Vancouver. A fire boat was also being used this morning to combat the flames. Thick smoke can be seen across the region, and nearby residents are advised to keep their windows closed and avoid being outdoors.
