Vehicle drives into Comfort Inn Cobourg

Two people were taken to hospital after a collision at the Comfort Inn in Cobourg Monday evening. Around 10:20 p.m., emergency services were called to the Comfort Inn parking lot on Densmore road. Reports say a vehicle with two occupants struck the building and a parked vehicle before accelerating over the curb and into a ditch.
A woman in her 70s and a man in his 80s were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The building and parked vehicle were damaged in the collision.
The police investigation is ongoing.
