Evacuation alert for new fire along Highway 3 near Osoyoos, B.C.

An evacuation alert is already in effect for a new fire along Highway 3, 17 kilometres west of Osoyoos. The Richter Mountain blaze was discovered Friday and is already 40 hectares in size. Wildfire officials are classifying it as out-of-control.
