At the International AIDS Conference in Montreal on Monday, federal health minister Jean-Yves Duclos spoke on the importance of ending HIV as a public health concern by 2030, saying “one pandemic cannot overshadow another.” Earlier in the conference, Duclos announced that the federal government has pledged $18 million to expand HIV testing across the country.
