Northumberland OPP say one person is dead following a collision on Hwy. 401 east of Cobourg on July 28.
The collision involved a SUV and a transport truck around 3 p.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway near Vernonville Road, about 20 km east of Cobourg.
OPP say the driver of the SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the transport was not injured.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
