Long waits and demands for passports continue to grow in Quebec

Many of the lawn chairs outside the Complex Guy Favreau have been folded up and put away — and the long lines are gone. But that’s only because passport offices in Quebec are only open on the Fête Nationale holiday to those who have appointments. As Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, people are frustrated and losing patience with the government’s backlog.
