Cobourg police seek suspect who shot home surveillance camera

Police in Cobourg are searching for a suspect who shot a home surveillance camera on May 30.

According to the Cobourg Police Service, around 4:20 a.m. officers were called to a residence in the area of Carlisle Street and Westwood Drive following a report of a person with a firearm. The individual is seen on video shooting the camera and then attempting to enter a home.
Police continue to investigate but have identified a person of interest.
