It’s become one of the fastest-growing sectors of the tourism industry, but when the pandemic hit, it fell the hardest. Once the borders closed to international visitors, Indigenous tourism operators were paralyzed. But Wednesday, the federal government committed more than $1 million to bring them back from the brink.
