Well, it was back to the pool Friday morning for the Carl Oake Rotary Swim. The event went virtual last year due to COVID-19.
UPDATE March 14: Organizers say the 36th annual event on Feb. 25 has already raised more than $50,000 thanks to the efforts of more than 50 swimmers and volunteers. Donations continue to be collected until March 18 at http://www.carloakerotaryswim.com.
Proceeds will benefit Easter Seals and Rotary Club programs in the community.
Since its inception the Carl Oake Rotary Swim has raised more than $1.3M for Easter Seals and Rotary projects.
