National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Friday that a Russian invasion of Ukraine “could begin at any time,” adding that an attack could happen during the Beijing Olympics. Sullivan said the U.S. is ready for an invasion “either way” and would respond “decisively” with severe economic sanctions and changes to NATO’s military posture in eastern Europe.
