COVID-19: Legault denies decision to lift restrictions was influenced by trucker protests

Quebec Premier François Legault on Tuesday said his government’s decision to start reopening the province was not due to public frustration with COVID-19 restrictions or the ongoing protests, but rather a change in hospitalization rates that has reduced “risk” in Quebec hospitals.
