Trucker convoy: Protesters gather on Tomb of Unknown Soldier, spark outrage

The so-called “Freedom Convoy” of truckers gathered on a revered war remembrance monument in Ottawa Saturday, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, sparking outrage, notably from Canada’s Defence Chief Gen. Wayne Eyre. Some people were seen dancing and milling around the monument. The convoy reached Ottawa on Jan. 29 in protest against a cross-border COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
