Procurement Minister Filomena Tassi announced on Monday that Canada had already received its first shipment of more than 30,000 treatment courses of Pfizer’s Paxlovid COVID-19 antiviral pill, and said another 120,000 would arrive by the end of March. Health Canada announced it had approved the pill for use Monday morning.
