COVID-19: Moore says he ‘can’t guarantee’ Ontario businesses can reopen on Jan. 26

Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore said Thursday that he “can’t guarantee” businesses will be able to reopen on Jan. 26, as the government continues to monitor hospitalizations and ICU admissions during the latest Omicron-driven COVID-19 wave. Moore said he hopes to have clarity on how well COVID-19 restrictions have worked by early next week.
