Former Calgary mayoral candidate Kevin J. Johnston was arrested in Montana on Tuesday after trying to cross the U.S.-Canada border. He failed to report to the Calgary Remand Centre to serve a court-ordered sentence. He is being held in the U.S. state until authorities return him to Calgary. Prior to his arrest, warrants had been issued when police were unable to locate him.
