After a day with little rainfall, there’s a sense of positivity on flood-weary Sumas Prairie in Abbotsford. During the lull, floodwater levels continued to gradually drop and with the end of the forecast ‘atmospheric rivers’ now in sight many residents say it feels like the immediate danger is subsiding.
