Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian on Thursday declined to comment on tennis star Peng Shuai’s whereabouts, or an alleged email she sent to the head of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). Peng posted on social media earlier this month about previous allegations of sexual assault against a former Chinese vice premier, but her post was quickly deleted and she has not been seen publicly since.
