B.C. floods: Most of Merritt underwater, as thousands forced to evacuate and many other communities inundated

It has been a historic day for weather in B.C. After 48 hours of pounding rain set in motion one disaster after another. But we’ll start in Merritt, where the entire city of 7,000 has been evacuated. The hospital and long-term care homes emptied and there is no word on when anyone will be allowed back. Rumina Daya reports.
