The Rockefeller Center Christmas tree arrived in New York City in the early hours of Nov. 13. The 79-foot-tall tree was cut down on Thursday and travelled from Elkton, Maryland. It is the first time the Rockefeller Center tree has hailed from Maryland, Associated Press reported.
