COVID-19: Has a new strain of the Delta variant emerged in Western Canada?

Global News reporter Richard Zussman asks B.C.’s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry about a possible new type of the Delta variant identified by a Saskatchewan doctor. Henry says B.C. officials do genome sequencing and are always looking for cases of mutations that “confer an advantage” of the transmissible Delta variant.
