Newly-elected Manitoba PC leader says she’s honoured to make history, outlines goals as premier

Manitoba Premier-designate Heather Stefanson spoke after winning the PC leadership race on Saturday, saying she was honoured to make history as the first woman to lead the province. She also outlined her plans as premier, including repairing their relationship with Indigenous people, economic recovery, the labour shortage and tackling concerns in health-care COVID-19 has raised.
