Prime minister travels to Kamloops to meet with Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc First Nation, and apologize

Two weeks after causing a storm of controversy by spending Canada’s first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on a beach in Tofino, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau travelled to Kamloops to personally apologize to the Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc, and hear their stories of residential schools.
