White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on Wednesday that the Port of Los Angeles is expanding its 24/7 operations to ease shipping backlogs, and that companies including Walmart, FedEx and UPS “are using more off-peak and nighttime hours” to speed up the shipment of goods across the country, especially as the holidays approach.
