When asked about advice given by Canada’s top doctor Theresa Tam, telling people to avoid non-essential travel, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said on Wednesday while visiting Washington D.C. that Canadians should heed the advice. She echoed the advice of Toronto’s top doctor, Eileen de Villa, stating Canadians should just stick to doing the things they need to do and avoid doing the things they want to do.
