Kelly got away with sexually abusing underage victims for more than two decades by ruling his inner circle enablers with an iron fist, as the R&B singer’s sex-trafficking trial neared its conclusion. Kelly did not testify in his own defence, which could have subjected him to days of tough questioning by prosecutors.
