Police say an individual who was rescued from the Otonabee River died in hospital on Wednesday evening.
Around 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a body in the water near James Stevenson Park.
Police say life-saving measures were performed but the victim later died in hospital.
No name has been released. Foul play is not suspected.
