Canada election: O’Toole vows to raise penalties for gun crimes

Conservative leader Erin O’Toole, speaking in Montreal on Friday morning, said a Conservative government would make it easier for prosecutors to prove that people accused of crimes are members of criminal organizations, and would take action to crack down on the smuggling of illegal guns.
