Afghanistan crisis: 1,250 Canadians still remain after evacuations end, minister says

Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau said Tuesday that roughly 1,250 Canadians were still in Afghanistan after the U.S. withdrew its final forces on Monday and evacuations ended. Garneau said those left include Canadian citizens, permanent residents and family members.
