Nova Scotia NDP Leader Gary Burrill said in his speech on election night Tuesday that he felt a deep “sense of gratitutde” to the candidates of his party and the campaigns across the province. He also said the campaign did “not follow the script” as opponents wanted and that instead of a “sleepy” election as expected, the party instead met residents who were “so engaged.”
