Peterborough police continue to search for a driver following a pursuit on Thursday evening in Cavan Monaghan Township.
Around 8:20 p.m., an officer on patrol attempted to stop a vehicle in Bailieboro. However, police say the vehicle failed to stop and fled.
A short pursuit was called off due to safety concerns.
Police say a short time later the vehicle was involved in a collision with another vehicle in a construction zone on County Road 28.
The driver fled the scene on foot.
A search by drone and the K9 unit failed to locate the suspect.
