Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Chief Raide Jadallah described on Friday the efforts to find people trapped in the wreckage of a partially collapsed oceanfront building in Surfside, Fla., stating that emergency crews are “listening for sounds” of tapping, twisting of steel or “debris raining down.” He says it is those areas that search and rescue crew focus on.
