Saskatchewan Health Minister Paul Merriman commented on if the province would reach an 80 per cent COVID-19 vaccination rate, stating that while they “can’t put a date” on it, people are going to continue getting vaccinated throughout the summer. “I’m encouraged that people are coming out still,” he said, adding “if we can get higher than 80 per cent we’re going to keep pushing it.”
